I refer to the application and subsequent Approval/Resources Inspection visit to Chaplaincy College of Health Science and Technology Yan Trailer Jos, Plateau State. I hereby convey the Board’s approval to establish the Institution in line with the provision of Act CAP E3 LPN 2004 with effect from September, 2026. The Board has also approved the Interim Accreditation for the following academic programme and the corresponding number of streams for the take-off of the Institution: 1. Institutional Administration - (Granted Approval); 2. ND Public Health Technology - (One stream). The approval is strictly based on the number of streams indicated above and compliance with the extant government regulations and policies as they affect Polytechnics and similar Institutions. Admission of students into the approved programme should commence with effect from the 2025/2026 sessions. The approval to commence the programme lapses if admission does not take place within the period stated above. Thereafter, the admission can only be allowed to take place after a fresh Resources Inspection visit has been carried out at the instance of the Institution. The approved programme will be due for Initial Accreditation when the first set of students are in the third or fourth semester of study. Please note that, it is the responsibility of the Institution to invite the Board to carry out the Initial Accreditation exercise when due. Failure to do so within the specified period will disqualify it from further admission of students into the programme. You are once again advised to ensure strict compliance with the above approved programme and number of streams indicated. Furthermore, you must remedy all deficiencies observed during the visit. Monitoring and Evaluation visitation shall be undertaken by the Board in one year to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and adherence to Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards. The operational license for the establishment of the Institution will be presented to you at a date to be communicated to you later.
